What Website Care Plus Adds

A few things change when you move up. Everything else is identical: the distinction is how much recovery work is included, not whether the customer receives basic security.

Moving Your WordPress Site Is Handled

Already have a WordPress website? We'll take care of the move. We migrate your existing WordPress website into our managed hosting environment while preserving your current URLs, content, SSL configuration and essential website functionality.

Standard WordPress migrations are included. Complex ecommerce, membership, multisite or custom application environments may require a separate quote.

Managed WordPress Hosting, Without The Hosting Headaches

We are not a general web host. Both plans cover Managed WordPress Hosting and WordPress Website Maintenance for one existing WordPress website, on our managed WordPress stack, looked after by the people who build WordPress sites for a living.

Managed WordPress hosting, not a reseller control panel

SSL issued, installed and kept valid for you

Core, theme and plugin updates applied routinely

Daily backups, stored off the server

A monthly report showing exactly what we did

When Something Goes Wrong, We're Already Looking At It

Got.Media monitors the health and availability of your WordPress website. If a managed site experiences an issue, we investigate the cause and determine the appropriate next step, whether that's repairing an update issue, restoring a backup or addressing a security problem covered by your plan.

How We Run Our Hosting

Hosting someone else's website carries duties that a marketing service does not. Under the EU Digital Services Act a hosting provider has to publish how it handles reports of illegal content, explain any action it takes, and stay reachable. Ours is written down in plain language rather than buried in a terms page.

Acceptable use, agreed up front

  • What may and may not be hosted is set out before you sign, not decided after a complaint.

A published way to report illegal content

  • Anyone can report illegal content on a site we host, and every report is logged and answered.

Reasons in writing if we ever act

  • If content or a service is restricted you get a written statement of reasons and a route to challenge it.

One named point of contact

  • A single published contact for you and for authorities — no ticket maze.

Questions People Ask Before They Sign Up

If yours is not here, ask us and we will answer it straight.

What does website spam protection cover?

Both plans include automated spam filtering for supported website forms and comments. This does not include business-email inbox filtering, manual moderation of every submission, or removal of existing spam-filled pages. Filtering helps reduce unwanted submissions but cannot eliminate every spam message.

What does a malware cleanup include?

Website Care Plus includes one standard malware-cleanup incident per 12 months of continuous service for an eligible infection arising after onboarding. Standard cleanup covers removing malicious files or database entries, replacing affected supported software, resetting relevant website credentials, applying available security fixes, and checking the website afterward. Pre-existing infections, additional separate incidents, custom-code repairs, website rebuilding, and recovery of unavailable data are quoted separately. Cleanup coverage is separate from your monthly content-change allowance.

How do you handle backup restoration and security response?

Both plans include initial assessment of detected security issues and reasonable containment steps during support hours. Where appropriate, we restore an available clean backup. Additional remediation outside the plan is explained and quoted before work begins. Security incidents are assessed according to severity across both plans. Priority support applies to routine requests; it does not mean that an active threat on an Essentials website will be ignored.

What counts as a small content change?

Website Essentials includes up to two small content changes per month. Website Care Plus includes up to six. Changes use client-supplied text or images within existing pages. Unused changes do not roll over. New pages, copywriting, redesigns, and development are separate.

What can security not protect against?

Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a website will never experience spam, malware, unauthorized access, or downtime. Automated monitoring does not include round-the-clock human response. If a problem is caused by Got.Media's covered work, we correct it without charging a cleanup fee or consuming your annual cleanup allowance.

Do I have to move my website to your hosting?

Yes. Both plans include hosting for one existing WordPress website, and a standard website migration is included after an eligibility review.

What happens to the price after the first 12 months?

Website Essentials renews at $39.99/month after the first year, and Website Care Plus renews at $69.99/month after the first year. The initial agreement is 12 months, billed monthly.

Is malware protection really included on the cheaper plan?

Yes. Daily malware scanning, security alerts, the website firewall and login protection are included on both plans — we do not take protection away from the lower plan. The difference is hands-on recovery: Website Care Plus includes one malware cleanup per year, while on Website Essentials a cleanup is quoted separately when needed.

What if I need more content changes than my plan includes?

Unused changes do not roll over. New pages, copywriting, redesigns, and development are separate from the monthly content-change allowance.

Do you support websites that are not built on WordPress?

These plans cover WordPress websites. If your site is built on another platform, talk to us and we will tell you honestly what we can support.

What happens to premium plugins or themes if I move my website?

Some premium plugins, themes and tools are included at no additional cost while your website is hosted and managed by Got.Media. If you transfer your website to another hosting provider, certain licenses may no longer be included and may require a separate purchase to continue receiving updates, support or premium features. Your website files, database and content remain yours.

Can I cancel my hosting or maintenance plan at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your plan at any time. Your service will remain active through the end of your prepaid billing period. After the billing period ends, your account will be archived and scheduled for deletion. Got.Media maintains archived copies for up to 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to restart service or request a copy of your website if needed.

How does Got.Media help with website speed and Core Web Vitals?

Our managed WordPress hosting uses modern hosting and performance technology designed to deliver fast, accessible websites for both visitors and search engines. This includes optimized server resources, server-level caching, CDN technology, modern PHP, SSL and other performance optimizations. We also maintain the WordPress environment so updates and routine maintenance do not get ignored. While no hosting provider can guarantee specific Core Web Vitals scores because performance also depends on your theme, plugins, images and website content, our hosting environment is built to provide a strong performance foundation.

What hosting infrastructure does Got.Media use?

Got.Media websites are hosted on USA-based infrastructure designed specifically for modern WordPress websites. The hosting environment includes SSL certificates, SSD-based storage, CDN delivery, server-level static and dynamic caching, managed PHP, daily backups, on-demand backups, firewall protection, DDoS protection, anti-bot security and proactive server-level security updates. Daily backups are retained for up to 30 days at the hosting-infrastructure level, with additional on-demand backup capabilities available for managed sites.

When is Got.Media hosting support available?

Standard website hosting and maintenance support is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time. For critical issues such as a website outage or suspected hack, emergency support is available 24/7. If you need emergency assistance outside normal business hours, please try the live chat first. If a live team member is unavailable or the issue requires immediate attention, you can then use our emergency phone support.

What types of websites are these hosting plans designed for?

These are Small Business WordPress Hosting plans, designed for service professionals, small businesses and other standard WordPress websites that need reliable hosting, security, maintenance and ongoing website support. They are not intended for high-traffic websites, ecommerce stores, complex membership platforms, web applications or other resource-intensive environments. If your website has advanced requirements, contact Got.Media. We can review your website and recommend a hosting and management solution appropriate for its traffic, functionality and infrastructure needs.

Your Website Stays Yours

Your website, content and domain remain yours. We don't believe managed hosting should mean being locked into a provider. If you decide to move, we'll provide the website files and database needed to transfer your WordPress site.

NOT SURE WHICH PLAN FITS YOUR WEBSITE?

Tell us about your site and we will tell you honestly which plan makes sense — including when the answer is the cheaper one.
